Mother Tree Parent Gatherings offer a nurturing and compassionate space for parents to take a breath, recharge and redirect their energies. These workshops bring parents together to explore common parenting issues from the perspective of inner awareness, using mind-body practices of yoga, breath, meditation and sound.
On Wednesday 6th February, 8-9.30pm we will explore the theme of self care and the supportive value of presence in parenting. The fast paced nature of our modern times often means that life is very busy, as a consequence safeguarding space and time for ourselves as parents can be challenging. Through gentle movement, breath and meditative practices, we will explore how to integrate self-care practices into our schedules, and you shall leave with some supportive strategies. The workshop is relevant for parents of children of all ages, however this is a parent only event.
